Jesus Christ – I'll just write this here because the lesson continues – spirituality through spirituality, my friends, my brethren, when we obey the Word of God, when we obey the proper interpretation of the Word of God, then we will come up or we will reach true spirituality. I said this two weeks ago, it is very impossible to live the Christian life of true spirituality if we are not saved. It is very important that first and foremost, we recognize that there is something called salvation. Let this line represent time. So this line represents time. What do you read there? Timeline, right? It represents time. Okay, timeline. So let this line represent time. Before everything, there is a Creator. Before all things, before time began, there was a Creator. And this is the first sin, or these are the first sins of man, that man did not acknowledge his Creator and opposed the knowledge of the Creator.
Okay, when that happens, you will truly sin. Why? Because you didn't recognize who was ruling. Nevertheless, the Creator created, right? "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." But we know God created all things. Man fell into sin, right? That's why we have the term "the fall." And enters... Why is there death? Why is there death? It's because of sin. That's why there's death, because there's sin. "Death passed upon all men, for all have sinned." So there's sin, there's death because man fell. But praise God, there is this thing in the Bible called "in due time Christ died for the ungodly." So there's something in the Bible called "due time." Those who pay bills know this very well, okay? They know very well that when it's called a "due date," that's the last day to pay without penalty. If you pay past the due time, there's a penalty. If you were supposed to pay only 2,000, now it's 2,400, 2,300, it has increased even more, brethren. When Christ came, He did not exceed the time. The coming of Christ into the world was precisely on time. It's due time. It's just on time, not late, not early. It was precisely "due time" when Christ came; that was the perfect time for Him to be in the world. When He was born as a baby, that was the perfect time for Him to be on Earth.
And the truth here, my friends, my brethren, Christ died on the cross. He was buried, and He rose again the third day. Hence, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. What do we call the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ? That's the gospel, right? That's the gospel. What is the gospel? What does it mean? Good news. Are you following? When God first created all things, sin entered, death entered. Why is there death? Because of sin. Why did Christ die? Because of our sin. Let me repeat, why is there death according to the Bible? Because of sin, due to sin, right? Why did Christ die? Because of our sins. "Christ died for our sins." Without acknowledging that we are sinners, we could not be saved. If we don't acknowledge we're sinners, we can't be saved. Okay, we must first acknowledge that we are sinners before we can be saved.
